A little bit about me

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I was immersed in music and sports. Discovering a passion for BMX at an early age led to years of traveling the country with friends, searching for skateparks, trails, or races on the national circuit where we could compete. As the internet became more of a household thing, I discovered my love for web design and development through my passion for BMX. After creating a website for our local scene, I was all in. Though my days in BMX were winding down, it left me heading in a new direction with something I was equally passionate about.

Before I knew it, this new direction spun into project after project, and I fell into a career I love. After landing one of my first projects, I bought my first instrument with the money I made. This instrument opened yet another door through which I could weave my design and programming skills. Over years of playing local gigs, touring, and making connections in the music industry, I completed various web projects for companies and artists.

As time has passed, I've worked freelance and full-time at various agencies and continued to stay inspired, motivated, and grow with the ever-changing landscape of the World Wide Web. I've had my hands on projects for companies like Chevy, Navy, USPS, Mophie, Famous Stars & Straps, and many more during this time.

Today, I'm loving life tucked back in the woods of Rockford, Michigan, with my lifetime partner, our dog pack, and our parrots. I'm living my best life with a reignited passion for cycling, a continued love of songwriting, and 24+ years of experience with a neverending drive to create brand-telling interactive experiences. ❤️
