Memo Quote Tool Case Study

Memo Quote Tool

Creating a complex tool through creative development

Though Memo and Mighty had already done a lot of brainstorming and planning before I began development, this project required my brain to work overtime to come up with a solution that accomplished what the initial phase asked for and allowed for expansion in future phases. While we used Craft CMS for content management as usual with Mighty projects, we went headless with the quote tool. Using Vue and GraphQL, we developed a front-end solution that provides a great user experience and ease of use. But it didn't end there. After creating an initial version that allowed Memo to set up product configurations in the cms and the user to configure the products, add them to an estimate, and submit an estimate, its overall functionality has grown significantly.

Today, the quote tool allows for endless product configurations with conditional option-to-option functionality, PDF and spreadsheet creation, endless rep groups, and estimate transfer from one user to the other, to name a few features. With tons of estimates and quotes created to date, I'm incredibly proud of what we made and how it continues to grow.
